ANN I. PARK

Professional Summary

Ann I. Park has extensive experience in commercial business disputes, insurance coverage, and environmental law matters. Ms. Park has concentrated her practice at Pond North in defending the Firm’s national clients in complex toxic tort, asbestos products liability, and premises liability actions. Ms. Park is involved in all aspects of pre-trial, trial, and post-trial work, including appeals. She has briefed and argued successful appeals for the Firm’s Fortune 100 clients. She has developed a specialty in the complex medical and scientific aspects of defending the Firm’s clients in toxic tort lawsuits.

Ms. Park received her Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from Harvard University in 1984, and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1987, where she served as Managing Editor of the UCLA Law Review.She has served as a Trustee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and has served as President of the Korean American Bar Association of Southern California. Mr. Park has served on the California State Commission on Uniform State Laws, and also has served on the California State Bar’s Council on Access and Fairness and Judicial Nominees Evaluation Commission. Since 2007, Ms. Park has been responsible for coordinating the High School Mentoring Program of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, which brings lawyers, judges, and prominent speakers to local high schools to serve as mentors in encouraging students to enter the legal profession.In 2009, Ms. Park received the State Bar’s Diversity Award and LACBA’s Patricia Phillips Committee Service Award for those efforts, and in 2015, Ms. Park received the Presidential Recognition Award from the State Bar of California.

Ms. Park is admitted to practice in the California state courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Since 2007, Ms. Park has been recognized as a Southern California Super Lawyer.
