Monica M. de Leon is an Associate in the Los Angeles office. Ms. de Leon’s practice focuses on toxic tort, product liability, asbestos, and other general liability issues confronting manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and retailers.
Before joining Pond North, Ms. de Leon worked in general civil litigation defense, where she gained experience in a wide range of practice areas in both federal and state court, including medical malpractice, civil rights, business, employment, real estate, and intellectual property. She has extensive experience in taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, working on favorable settlements for clients, and preparing cases for trial.
Ms. de Leon earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2011. She earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law, with a certificate in Dispute Resolution in 2014. While in law school, Ms. de Leon was a member of the competitive Honors Negotiation Team and the Journal of the National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary.
Ms. de Leon is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Central District of California.
