Ms. Majd is an associate in the San Francisco office. She has tried over a dozen cases to verdict, including seven jury trials while employed as a Tulare County deputy public defender. After leaving the Tulare County Public Defender's Office, she joined Beck Law PC where she handled high asset dissolutions and criminal cases. Ms. Majd then moved into civil litigation where she has and continues to handle personal injury and premises liability matters.
Ms. Majd has participated in all aspects of civil litigation, including all phases of discovery, factual investigation, depositions, and trials. With the Vasquez Estrada & Conway LLP, she maintained and supervised large caseloads involving product and premises liability matters. She handled matters from inception to case closure including the taking of plaintiff, witness and expert depositions, motion work and settlement negotiations.
Ms. Majd received her law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2005. At Thomas Jefferson, Ms. Majd was the Board Chair and Secretary for the Public Interest Law Foundation. Ms. Majd interned with the United States Department of State, with the Foreign Institute where she worked on Middle Eastern foreign policy. She also interned for the San Diego Public Defender's Office where she headed the Misdemeanor Unit and was placed in charge of clearing all outstanding warrants. She graduated from the University of California, Davis and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Political Science and International Relations, with an emphasis in Peace and Security. Ms. Majd is fluent in both French and Farsi. Nilu Majd has been in good standing with the California State Bar since 2006.
