Previn A. Wick is a Senior Associate in the Los Angeles office. He practices business litigation and general civil litigation including toxic tort, product liability, asbestos, environmental and other general liability issues confronting manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and retailers.
Prior to joining Pond North LLP, Mr. Wick's practice was general in nature but focused primarily on insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, business litigation, commercial litigation, consumer warranty litigation and appeals. Mr. Wick has tried several cases to verdict and has never lost a trial. In addition, Mr. Wick has won many appeals in the California Court of Appeals and recently expanded consumer rights in Isip v. Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (2007) 155 Cal.App.4th 19 where he was able to successfully argue that the implied warranty guarantees that a vehicle is manufactured such that it is substantially free of defects. Mr. Wick has enjoyed success in a wide array of matters from drafting legislation, advising clients with insurance matters, overturning verdicts on appeal, and defending clients in product liability and premises liability actions.
Mr. Wick graduated with Departmental and College Honors from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1997, receiving his Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science. Mr. Wick received his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2001. At Loyola Law School, Mr. Wick was a member of the Entertainment Law Society. Mr. Wick is a member of the California State Bar and the United States District Court for the Central, Eastern and Southern District of California.
