Sandra L. Gryder has an extensive background in all facets of civil litigation, including working in-house for Chicago Title Insurance Company. Ms. Gryder’s primary focus is on pre-trial litigation and trial preparation, though she has handled all aspects of litigation, from preparation of initial pleadings, discovery, expert witnesses, trial preparation, trial and appeals. She also has practiced extensively in the areas of real estate litigation and transportation-related matters. In addition, Ms. Gryder has represented secured creditors’ claims in bankruptcy and receivership proceedings, both in Federal Bankruptcy Court and state court. Ms. Gryder also continues her practice in insurance litigation, coverage, as well as in all aspects of general business litigation.
Ms. Gryder was graduated from Loyola Marymount University, with honors, in 1981. She received her Juris Doctor degree in 1984 from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where she was a member of the Scott Moot Court Honors Program and was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Contracts. Ms. Gryder is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice in all of the United States District Courts in California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Ms. Gryder’s present practice focuses on overseeing and trial work regarding claims relating to asbestos personal injury and wrongful death claims, other toxic tort and products liability claims, accident injury claims, medical malpractice claims, and property damage/construction claims. Ms. Gryder has extensive trial and litigation experience in the areas of real estate and transportation (domestic and international).
