Timothy C. Pieper is a Partner in the Firm’s Los Angeles office. He specializes in toxic tort, product liability, asbestos, environmental and other general liability issues confronting manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and retailers. Mr. Pieper has extensive experience taking and defending depositions, preparing dispositive motions, and conducting all aspects of trial preparation. In addition to his experience with toxic tort and product liability litigation, Mr. Pieper has experience handling construction defect, insurance coverage, employment and personal injury matters.
Mr. Pieper graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1996, with a double-major in Economics and Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 1999, where he served as a Note & Comment Editor on Loyola's International Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Pieper was a legal assistant for the Office of the County Counsel at the Edelman Children's Court, where he assisted attorneys with child abuse and child neglect cases. In 1994, Mr. Pieper earned an internship with the Office of Media Affairs at The White House. He served under Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers, wrote briefing memos read by President Clinton, and prepared press releases for members of the national media.
